Fireplace Grilled Salmon Steak Recipe:
4 Salmon Steaks, as fresh as possible
Olive Oil, Salt, Pepper
Start a fire in the fireplace a few hours before cooking, allow the wood to break down into coals, kinda like charcoal.
Place your cooking grill over the coals in the fireplace - be careful doing this.
Allow the grill to heat up and clean the grill with half an onion rubbed over the grill.
Drizzle olive oil and then salt and pepper to each side of the steaks.
Place the steaks on the hot grill, and let each side cook about 5 minutes. This time may vary depending on how hot the coals are.
Flip the fish, and check in a few minutes for done-ness. The flesh will flake easily when its done. Ideally you will take the fish off the grill just before the desired done-ness.

Pretty Cool man. I think I'll get a grill like this. We had that huge snow storm this winter in the northeast where we lost power for days and I found myself cooking bread and stuff but wanting to be able to cook like that!

Cast iron cookware is the best, plain and simple. I used non-stick pans for years, but a nice steak fried in a cast iron skillet plays in a whole different league. Besides, you can buy a top notch pan for under 70 dollars and it will probably outlive you. The non-stick stuff may last 3 years or so if you are very lucky. If you search the web a bit, you can often find a really good pan on sale. There are always some great offers on cast iron kitchen stuff listed on the cast iron pots website. Ok, that did it, now I'm hungry. I'm off to the kitchen to clog my arteries with some steak and eggs.

I personally love cooking over our outdoor fire pit in the summer time. We had a stamped concrete patio poured with a built in gas fire pit which is surrounded by plants and Hose Pots.
Depending on how much time I have is the deciding factor of what I cook. I especially love cooking steaks over the open flame.
Thanks for sharing.

I must express my appreciation for your generosity for those individuals that have the need for assistance with this one idea. Your very own dedication to passing the message along turned out to be surprisingly good and has frequently made employees much like me to realize their ambitions. The helpful publication denotes a whole lot to me and even further to my office workers. Warm regards; from all of us.
