I just heard on the local news (CBS 2/KCAL 9) that beekeeping is now a fun and profit making enterprise that requires little space. The report states that beekeeping New Yorkers are using their roof tops to keep their hives and are selling the honey for profit!
But, we already knew that because of Eric's Bee Blog and Beekeeping TV!

thx. you can make money with beekeeping, but it takes some work. i know of a few people in NYC who generate some income from it
