Fishing out west is mainly Trout, both in Streams and Rivers.
I'm with you Eric, wearing orange is the only way to be safe in the woods. Especially with all the sound shooters out there now.
But want deer? Come here to Texas and sit on the Pation with a bowl full of rocks or a slingshot. We can't get rid of them! I had to put up a 7 ft deer fence around the garden just to keep them out. Yes, we are in the country, not the city.
