Speaking of listening to podcasts: back around the holidays I wrote about some stereo headsets for gardeners I thought were pretty kewl. Those were the Tags from Outdoor Technology. While the idea was good, I ended up having some problems with them.
First of all, I sweat like a Mississippi plow mule--it's a family trait, what we kennerly's do best--so I shorted out two pair of the OT Tags through the USB plug on the right earphone. The third pair (not counting the set that slipped from around my neck and drown themselves in the commode at a KFC one day), finally survived my sweat, but broke the thin wires to the left earphone and battery. I've since found that OT doesn't sell them anymore, so there must have been other folks with problems.
So, I'm now using the Jabra Street2. So far, so good. The point of going Bluetooth, by the way, is getting rid of the wire between your belt holder and your ears while gardening or doing manual work, like fooling around with the bees (most BT stereo headsets also have a microphone and, because I have an iPhone I can tell Siri, "call Gayle's mobile" while under the veil and have her bring me more smoker fuel or a box of frames or something).
The Street2s look like a military dog tag, even have the beaded dogtag chain. Any set of 3rd party earphones will plug into the side of the unit, but the set that comes with the Street2 are far better than any set of headphones I own. But if you break or lose your headphones, just plug some cheapies into the main body.
The usb charging port is on the bottom and, so far, has kept my salty sweat from soaking the electronics and shorting the unit out, even when worn inside my shirt. The BT radio is strong enough that I never have to take my iPhone from my belt holder and slip it into my pocket to get a good signal (a constant problem with the OT Tags). In fact, in the greenhouse I set the phone on top of a step ladder and then I can walk way over to the bee hives and still have a signal.
The Street2 will play for about 5.5 hours without a charge, will recharge from your computer or an included wall wart, comes with a belt/clothing clip as well as a beaded chain, and a pair of better than average earbuds.
The only downside is the microphone, which everyone review complains about. Anyway, around 60 bucks.

My site has a lot of unique content I've either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my agreement. Do you know any techniques to help prevent content from being stolen? I'd genuinely appreciate it.
