When I make gravy I do the same thing as Mike. It is a simple way to make it with cornstarch. I usually watch the thickness as it can get thick very fast and I continually stir so it doesn't stick to the pan and so I can gauge how much cornstarch to add. I once heard to add a pinch of cornbread mix to add a different flavor, but I never tried it. So Mike or Eric how about you be my guinea pig for me! :0)
P.S. Eric you breathed really loud ... I would suggest the netti pot. Don't knock it til' you try it! And Eric you were cut off, but thanks for another non=pignient show! (idk the spelling)

Great show guys!
Eric, I second the netti pot and it's available at most chain drug stores.
Mike, Jim and I go up to Montana to a family home and fish. There's a huge willow that over hangs the water that we try to cast under. There's also a huge log down there with tons of lures. I keep telling Jim I'm going down there to retrieve the lures, except that the water is too cold and my fear of lake sharks.

I have been a Mac fan since the IIfx days and I currently work in tech support here at SFASU. Currently we mainly use either Dells or Macs on campus.
Well, the Dell rep sent us a netbook to try out to see if we might be interested in buying a few. We quickly decided that they were just to under-powered and did not have the storage we needed.
Before we sent it back to Dell I "borrowed" it and installed the Mac OS on the machine. I would loved to have seen the look on their faces when they fired it up back at the factory. 😀
