You Tell Andy The Beach Is Closed...

Hi Friend,

Brooklyn has snow. And Andy likes the snow.

There you go, that's the shortest opening paragraph of the newsletter ever. But here in the second paragraph we'll talk about how Prospect Park has closed the dog beach for the season. On the morning walk we don't walk past the beach now, while we figure out how to tell Andy her beach is closed.

I got just about every outdoor late fall project done, except a few. One of them is a trailer full of compost that sits next to the veg garden. Its now full of frozen compost. I think if I turn the trailer upside down, and heat the bottom of the metal trailer with the flamethrower, it might drop out.

I did want to move some Joe Pye Weed closer to the veg beds and let the wild area between the yard and the tree line go more wild. I have it marked, and I'll aim to dig it up in early spring.
